Friday, October 2

 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.  Registration, Fred Meyer Lounge, Riley Hall

12 p.m. - 5 p.m. Linfield Art Gallery, Miller Fine Arts Center

12 p.m. - 11 p.m.  Gameroom open, Riley Hall, 3rd floor
Challenge your student to a game of billiards, darts, ping-pong, foosball, air hockey or one of the various video games!

 3 p.m.  Award Winning Faculty Panel, Riley Hall, Room 201
Dr. Liz Atkinson, Associate Dean, moderates a panel discussion featuring members of Linfield's distinguished faculty.  Learn about their distinct approaches to students' intellectual development.

 4:00 p.m.  Art and Wine Walk, Downtown McMinnville
As you walk down historic 3rd Street you will be able to get your passport stamped at 12 different wineries or tasting rooms.  Completed passports will be entered for a fabulous prize.

 7 p.m.  Volleyball vs. George Fox, Ted Wilson Gymnasium
The Wildcat volleyball team meets the Bruins from George Fox University

 8 p.m. Linfield Chamber Orchestra, Melrose Hall, Ice Auditorium
Enjoy music performed by our joint student-professional orchestra


Saturday, October 3

9 a.m. - 3 p.m.  Registration, Fred Meyer Lounge, Riley Hall

9 a.m.  Breakfast with the President, Riley Hall, Room 201
Enjoy breakfast with fellow Linfield parents and hear from Linfield's President, Thomas L. Hellie 

10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Downtown McMinnville Celebration, Third Street
Downtown merchants invite you to enjoy the various shops and restaurants available on historic Third Street.  There will be great specials at the stores.

10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Family Weekend Brunch, Dillin Hall
Enjoy the college dining experience with your student

12 p.m. - 5 p.m. Linfield Art Gallery, Miller Fine Arts Center

 2 p.m.  Campus Experts Open House, Fred Meyer Lounge, Riley Hall
Do you have a question for one of the offices on campus?  A representative from a number of college offices will be on hand to answer your questions.

 3 p.m.  Student Music Showcase, Fred Meyer Lounge, Riley Hall
A special edition of Cat cab will provide entertainment for students and family members.

 5 P.M. Wine Tasting with Linfield parent Larry Maguire, Jonasson Hall, Melrose Hall
President of Far Niente winery will guide a tasting of high-end wines from the Napa Valley and Willamette Valleys.  Read more about Larry.

 9 p.m.  Laugh Off, Melrose Hall, Ice Auditorium, Melrose Hall
Hosted by comedian Tony Deyo from the Aspen Comedy Festival, it's a way for students on your campus to show off and hone their burgeoning comedy skills while having the opportunity to open for a professional comedian.  Five to 10 students perform short sets, followed by a 30-40 minute performance from Deyo.  At the end, students vote for their favorites and a winner is crowned.
