How do I give?

Thank you for considering a gift to Linfield College!
We provide many ways to give. Many of our donors prefer to make a gift by cash, check, or credit card, or through a matching gift from their employer. However, we also accept gifts of stocks and securities, real estate, in-kind gifts or gifts through electronic fund transfer. If you are considering a planned gift, please click here.

Cash and Check:
Cash or check is a common way people make their gift to Linfield College. Checks can be sent through the mail to: Linfield College, Office of College Relations, 900 SE Baker Street, McMinnville, Oregon 97128-6894. Cash may be dropped off in person to Melrose 026 on the McMinnville campus.
Electronic Fund Transfer:
Many people find it convenient to give at the level they want to give by making monthly or quarterly payments through Linfield’s Electronic Fund Transfer program. To set up your automatic payment from a checking or savings account, print out the EFT form and mail it to Linfield College, Office of College Relations, 900 SE Baker Street, McMinnville, Oregon 97128-6894.
Securities and Stocks:
Gifts of appreciated stocks and bonds can offer special charitab
le opportunities for donors. If you would like to make a gift of appreciated assets please contact Craig Haisch, director of planned giving. For securities and stock transfer instruction please review Gifts of Securities. Prospective contributors should consult Linfield before making such a gift to ensure the best price for your charitable deduction.
Real Estate:
Gifts of property are accepted, provided they comply with the real estate policy of the college. Please consult Craig Haisch, director of planned giving, before making such a gift.
Gift-In-Kind:
A gift-in-kind might be artwork, books, furnishings, equipment or other material object, or a service, provided they comply with the policy of the college. To ensure the gift fits with Linfield’s mission, contact Craig Haisch, director of planned giving, before making such a gift.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Alumni (and their spouses), parents and friends can increase their gift by taking advantage of their company’s matching gift program. Many companies match household giving, sometimes one-to-one or two-to-one. Click here to find out if your company has a Corporate Matching Gift program and to get the appropriate forms. Fill out your information and send the form, along with your gift, to the Office of College Relations. If you have any questions, you may contact the Office of Annual Giving at 503-883-2244.
Gift Acknowledgments
The Office of College Relations is responsible for the
comprehensive, consistent, and appropriate recognition and stewardship of your gifts to the College. We abide by the standards described in the Donor Bill of Rights, and we make sure that information about your gift is appropriately reported, and, if desired, publicly recognized.
All donations to the College are recognized quickly and accurately. Our goal is to send your acknowledgement letter and tax receipt within 48 hours of receiving your gift.
