Scholarship and Naming Opportunities
Linfield offers two types of scholarships. Restricted scholarships and endowed scholarships both help students to achieve their goals of obtaining a Linfield education.

Naming Opportunities:
For those looking for a naming opportunity on campus, you can add your name, or the name of a loved one, to one of the seats in the Delkin Recital Hall, the newest performance space on campus. Located inside the Vivian A. Bull Music Center, the Delkin Recital Hall can accommodate up to 100 patrons. Gifts of $1,000 or more will be recognized with a brass plate on one of the seats in the recital hall. Funds will support the Music Endowment Fund created to support visiting artists, as well as travel by Linfield musical ensembles. | | name a scholarship and notify the donor with information about the student recipient.
Endowed scholarships: created with gifts of $30,000 or more, made payable over a three-year period.
Endowed funds are held in perpetuity and the funds are invested. A percentage of the earnings from the fund will be used as an ongoing scholarship each year. Each year, donors will receive news of the student recipients.
We also have a special alumni scholarship for legacy students.
Scholarships can be created to leave a legacy, to honor a beloved mentor or faculty member, or to remember a loved one.
Scholarships may include a specific designation such as a student majoring in English, a student from Central Oregon or a senior with a 3.0+ grade point. Specifications can also be general, allowing the scholarship to go to a worthy and deserving student who the college identifies.
